Before submitting titles for The Irish Book Awards, it's important that you take some time to read the eligibility guidelines. A title can be submitted in more than one category in instances where in addition to its natural category, that title is also eligible for the Best Newcomer or Best Irish-published awards. The awards executive's judgement on eligibility issues will be final. The eligibility period for title submissions for 2011 covered books published between 1st November 2010 and 31st October 2011.
