Once there was a boy who would often play hide-and-seek with his friends the star and the penguin.
The star was always easy to find, but one day it went missing. So the boy radioed the Martian for help and soon found himself on board a spaceship for an exciting rescue mission to the North Pole! But, once there, he discovered that he wasn’t the only one who had always dreamed of having a star as a friend…
The out-of-this-world sequel to How to Catch a Star, Lost and Found, The Way Back Home and Up and Down.
Oliver Jeffers makes art and tells stories. From his highly acclaimed debut How to Catch a Star, he has gone on to create a collection of bestselling picture books, which have been translated into many languages all over the world. He has won multiple awards, including the Nestlé Children’s Book Prize Gold Award, Blue Peter Book of the Year and CBI Book of the Year, as well as being shortlisted for the CILIP Kate Greenaway medal five times. Lost and Found was made into a BAFTA-winning animated film and Here We Are was a double Emmy award-winning animated film.
Like the boy, Oliver is terrible at looking for things. So he is an ideal opponent when playing hide-and-seek.
Originally from Belfast, Oliver now splits his time between Belfast and Brooklyn.
