The An Post Irish Book Awards Book of the Year 2021

An Post Irish Book Awards Book of The Year 2021

A book that will remain important for a very long time – a reflection of who we are and where we came from. Truly, this is a book for the ages.
Judging Panel's Verdict
The An Post Irish Book Awards Book of the Year is the culmination of the Awards season, electing a single title to the honorific, Book of the Year. As such, it should be the book which, on a number of relevant criteria, represents the very best of Irish publishing in a given year.
The winner of the An Post Irish Book of the Year 2021 will be crowned on RTÉ One at 10.35pm where we’ll hear from each of the six contenders below as they compete for this prestigious prize.
