The library association of ireland author of the year nominations 2025
This is the nominations page to enter authors for consideration for The Library Association of Ireland Author of the Year 2025, presented at the An Post Irish Book Awards 2025. The key criteria for nominations are:
- Nominated author must be Irish by birth, citizenship or permanent residence
- Nominated author may be writing in any genre i.e. fiction, nonfiction, adults, children etc
- Nominated author may be available in any medium i.e. print, ebook, audio book etc
- An Irish author whose work has made a notable contribution to the reading experience and engagement of Irish readers in 2025, as nominated by librarians and library book clubs
